The Canadian Animal Health Institute webinar (September 2013)

September 12th, 2013 (Toronto, Ont) - The Canadian Animal Health Institute webinar presentation by VisionQuest Environmental Strategies Corp., entitled Ensuring Your Compliance with Provincial Packaging and Printed Paper Stewardship Programs.

The Canadian Animal Health Institute (CAHI) is the trade association representing companies that develop, manufacture and distribute animal health products which include animal pharmaceuticals, biologics, feed additives and animal pesticides in Canada.   CAHI is a national association, whose members are responsible for sales of approximately 90% of the animal health product market in Canada with sales by CAHI member companies in 2010 where approximately $507 million.  

CAHI is administered by a Board of Directors  comprised of the following companies (2013) - Virbac Canada Inc., Zoetis Canada, Vetoquinol Canada Inc. BioAgri Mix LP, Merck Animal Health, Boehringer-Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd., Elanco Animal Health (Canada), Western Drug Distribution Centre Ltd., Hill's Pet Nutritional Canada Inc. and Bayer Inc.  

With a mandate to ensure that members are compliant to a science-based Canadian regulatory system and an advocate for enforcement of Canadian regulatory requirements.  CAHI maintains a policy that high ethical standards be the cornerstone of all their business activities.  This includes a commitment towards environmental stewardship and extended producer responsibility (EPR) obligations for members.
